The intelligent formula provides exceptionally high SPF 50+ non-nano protection while feeling featherlight and non-sticky on the skin. The smooth, fragrance-free cream soothes and calms the skin while providing powerful protection against free radical damage caused by UV exposure. Ideal for use in the morning at the end of any Medik8 skincare regime to protect from premature skin ageing. Carefully crafted for use after chemical peels when delicate skin is highly sensitive to UV exposure. The semi-matte finish is a great base for make-up; skin is left protected, hydrated, and supple.

HOW IT WORKS
Non-nano mineral filter zinc oxide reflects and absorbs UV rays to protect the skin from sun damage. Marrubium vulgare extract provides superior anti-pollution defence to limit the damage caused by environmental pollutants. Physical Sunscreen also includes anti-glycation (also known as anti-A.G.E.) technology. Glycation is a natural ageing process that occurs when excess sugars in our body bind themselves to proteins such as collagen and elastin, transforming them into advanced glycation end products (or A.G.E.s for short). As a result, the glycated protein fibres can no longer be renewed, which can lead to the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. Physical Sunscreen uses carnosine to help inhibit the glycation reaction and keep skin protected from glycation-derived skin ageing. Carnosine can also protect the skin from infrared rays, which are known to play a part in the breakdown of collagen.

Key Ingredients
*Zinc Oxide / Titanium Dioxide – Mineral physical filters that provide intensive, broad spectrum SPF 30 protection from UVA and UVB exposure.

*Marrubium Vulgare Extract – The next generation antioxidant behind our anti-pollution technology. By strengthening the skin’s natural barrier, it prevents the absorption of environmental toxins such as cigarette smoke and exhaust fumes.

*Thiotaine – An amino acid that occurs naturally within the skin. Boasting intensive antioxidant properties, it supports our anti-pollution technology by neutralising airborne toxins, while simultaneously minimising signs of premature ageing.

*Carnosine – A multi-purpose antioxidant that contributes to our anti-A.G.E technology. The protective ingredient inhibits the actions of skin-damaging sugars in the body (glycation) to correct signs of ageing, while also defending against the sun’s infrared radiation.

Direction of Use
Every morning, after your regular moisturiser, apply Physical Sunscreen to face, neck and décolletage. Avoid upper and lower eyelids and lips. Reapply during the day for maximum protection.
